We are pleased that a report on the first symposium of the Interreg VI-A project SHAPE, which was conceived, developed, and is coordinated by RheWaTech as the lead partner, has been published in the trade journal LZ.

The symposium itself was held in cooperation with the Chamber of Agriculture of North Rhine-Westphalia and the Research Focus on Sustainable Food Systems at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences. It was specifically aimed at agricultural advisors, who showed strong interest in the event. Thematically, the symposium focused on soil health and the soil microbiome, both of which represent key fields of action within the SHAPE project.

In addition to the contributions of the cooperation partners presented in the report, the symposium also showcased current research and development activities of other members of the consortium led by RheWaTech. These included, among others, methods for nematode identification (Antonie), sensor-based approaches for near-ground data acquisition (RF-Frontend), and expert contributions on soil hydrology (KnowH20).
